This December, 8,000€ have been donated to UNICEF. This money will be designated entirely for the purchase of kits for the development and education of boys and girls in Syria.

It has been more than 6 years since the beginning of the conflict in Syria, causing a serious humanitarian crisis. Some of the hair-raising information related to the conflict can be seen reflected in more than 5 million displaced or 13.5 million people who need humanitarian help in different regions of the country. Out of these 13.5 millions, almost half are children.

Valuing in detail and considering this terrible situation, our company has decided to collaborate with UNICEF on its project “early childhood development kit”. This kit consists of different basic services, as well as schooling material and toys, which will make easier their growth and education. In this way, and thought especially for children under 5, they could have greater opportunities available in the future.

At ITEM, we believe in the importance of putting our two cents helping in a humanitarian conflict of such importance. Collaborating, we can try to lend a hand and avoid having a lost generation in a country. Bringing a bit of normalcy to children’s lives, would mean hope.

For all those interested in this kind project, we would like to encourage you to collaborate with UNICEF on the project “early childhood development kit” (see all the information).

This collaboration with UNICEF is part of a social project which is carried out with different NGOs so as to contribute actively to the social and economic improvement of the community which surrounds us, nationally and internationally.
